1.3. This warranty covers Hakuro-branded makeup brushes purchased from the online store hakuro.eu.

2. Warranty Period
2.1. Hakuro provides a warranty for makeup brushes covered by these terms and conditions for a period of 48 months from the date of purchase of the product.
2.2. The date of purchase shall be established on the basis of the order information held in Hakuro’s system or another document confirming the purchase and its date.
3. Warranty Coverage
3.1. This warranty covers only defects in workmanship and the durability of the brush’s structural components specified in clause 3.2 that become apparent during normal use.
3.2. This warranty covers:
a) the durability of the connection between the handle and the ferrule,
b) the durability of the attachment of the entire bundle of bristles (brush head) inside the ferrule,
c) excessive bristle shedding where caused by a defect in the adhesive or the factory attachment of the bristles.
4. Warranty Exclusions
4.1. Brush bristles are subject to natural wear and tear. This warranty does not cover:
a) the shedding of individual bristles characteristic of normal use, particularly during the first weeks of use,
b) gradual abrasion, drying out, breakage or crumbling of bristles resulting from use,
c) natural wear of the surface of the handle, ferrule, markings or other components that does not affect the proper use of the brush.
4.2. Changes in the shape, softness or properties of the bristles resulting from dirt, improper care or natural wear and tear do not constitute defects covered by this warranty.
4.3. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, cleaning, drying or storage of the product, including in particular:
a) drying the brush in direct sunlight, on a radiator, using a hair dryer or another source of high heat,
b) using harsh or unsuitable cleaning agents, bleaches or solvents,
c) prolonged soaking of the ferrule or handle in water or a cleaning solution,
d) forcefully pulling, twisting or rubbing the bristles,
e) washing brushes in a washing machine, dishwasher or other household appliance not intended for this purpose,
f) washing brushes in electric cleaning devices,

h) unauthorised repairs, separating bonded components, alterations or modifications to the brush.
5. Warranty Claims, Product Delivery and Assessment
5.1. To make a warranty claim, please contact Hakuro at shop@hakuro.eu or via the contact form at hakuro.eu. The claim should include information sufficient to identify the purchase and the product, together with a description of the problem. Where possible, photographs or video footage should be provided to assist in assessing the claim.
5.2. If the information or materials provided are insufficient to assess the claim, Hakuro may request additional information or materials. If an assessment is still not possible, Hakuro may request that the product be sent for physical inspection.
5.3. Where delivery of the product is necessary, Hakuro will provide the customer with a free-of-charge method of sending the product. In Poland, this will normally be shipment via an InPost parcel locker (Paczkomat) using a code or shipping label provided by Hakuro. If the method specified by Hakuro is unavailable or would be excessively difficult for the customer to use, the customer should contact Hakuro to arrange an alternative free-of-charge delivery method. In other countries covered by this warranty, Hakuro will specify an available free-of-charge method of sending the product.
5.4. Any delivery method other than the one specified by Hakuro must be agreed with Hakuro in advance. Costs incurred because the customer independently chooses a different, unagreed delivery method will not be reimbursed, unless otherwise required by mandatory provisions of law.
5.5. Where necessary to assess the claim, Hakuro may properly clean and dry the brush before carrying out the assessment in order to verify its properties. Such actions do not constitute acceptance of the warranty claim.
6. Warranty Remedies and Time Limits
6.1. If a warranty claim is accepted, Hakuro will repair the product or replace it with a defect-free product free of charge. The choice of remedy and the possibility of applying a remedy other than the one selected by the customer are subject to the rules arising from mandatory provisions of law.
6.2. Obligations arising from an accepted warranty claim will be fulfilled without undue delay and no later than 30 days from the date the product is delivered to Hakuro, where such delivery was necessary to fulfil the warranty obligations. If delivery of the product is not necessary, this period shall run from the date on which Hakuro receives the information necessary to assess the claim.
6.3. If both repair and replacement are impossible or would entail disproportionate costs, in particular due to the discontinuation of production or sale of the model concerned or disproportionate costs of fulfilling the warranty obligation, including transport costs, Hakuro may refund the purchase price paid for the product instead of repairing or replacing it.
6.4. If replacement with the same model is not possible, Hakuro may offer a replacement with another Hakuro product of comparable purpose and characteristics.
6.5. The product will be returned to the customer at Hakuro’s expense following completion of the warranty claim procedure, regardless of the outcome of the assessment. If Hakuro determines that the product does not have a defect covered by the warranty, it will inform the customer of the reason for rejecting the claim.
6.6. If, in fulfilling its warranty obligations, Hakuro replaces the product with a defect-free product or carries out a substantial repair, the warranty period shall start anew from the date on which the defect-free product or the substantially repaired product is delivered to the customer. If a component of the product is replaced, this rule shall apply accordingly to the replaced component. In all other cases, the warranty period shall be extended by the time during which the customer was unable to use the product due to a defect covered by the warranty, in accordance with applicable law.
7. Statutory Consumer Rights and Final Provisions
7.1. This warranty constitutes an additional, voluntary right granted to the purchaser.
7.2. In the event of a lack of conformity of the goods with the contract, the consumer is entitled by law to remedies from the seller free of charge. The Hakuro 4-year warranty does not exclude, limit or suspend these statutory remedies.
7.3. This warranty is governed by Polish law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions that cannot be excluded by reason of the country of the consumer’s habitual residence or other applicable legal provisions.
7.4. These terms and conditions apply to products purchased on or after 1.10.2026.
