J335 Detail Setting Brush
- Long brown handle
The J335 is a mini version of the J380 brush - a fluffy yet firm paddle-shaped brush with a round top. Best used as an all-over shadow brush to apply base eyeshadow for a smooth canvas for eye makeup or as a precise highlighting brush for small areas of the face such as the bridge of the nose or Cupid’s bow. The flattened ferrule gives you maximum control over the colour payoff of the products you use, allowing you to pick up as little or as much product as you desire.
Trick of the trade: For a sheer wash of colour, use the tip of the brush to pick up the product and tap off any excess before applying it onto the face. For more colour payoff, pick up the product with the side of the brush and use a heavier hand when applying it on the face. Just be sure to blend the edges of the colours well for a seamless, professional-looking finish.
The area of the face the brush was designed for (face or eyes). Keep in mind that this is merely a suggestion on our part - feel free to use the brush wherever and however you wish to create your makeup looks
The size is relative to the area of the face the brush was designed for - therefore, a brush described as a small face brush will be relatively big if you intend to use it as an eye brush.
Suggests the function of the brush (e.g. a concealer or blush brush)
Bendiness of the brush when pressed firmly against the skin. We list brush flexibility on a scale of 1 to 3 where 1 is the firmest and 3 describes a brush which bends when we apply pressure.
Bristle density and firmness on a scale from 1 to 3 where 1 describes a fluffy brush which gives very subtle color payoff and 3 refers to a firm, densely-packed brush which delivers the boldest colour payoff.
